- Prince's home and studio, Paisley Park, is permanently open to the public for tours Thursdays through Sundays. Fans will receive a rare glimpse of Prince's 65,000-square foot home, studio and rehearsal spaces. Throughout the experience, visitors will see artifacts from Prince’s personal archives, including iconic concert wardrobe, awards, musical instruments, artwork, rare music and video recordings and motorcycles. Paisley Park now offers new themed tour packages. VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to record vocals live in Prince's Studio B. The "Paisley Park After Dark" dance party will groove the NPG Music Club for hours. Saturday evenings will feature Prince movies and rare concert footage! Save your appetite for Sunday morning brunch in the NPG Music Club, reserved for VIP ticket holders. Tickets now are on sale for tour dates. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Prince Night at Target Field
The Twins celebrated the first official Prince Night at Target Field on Friday, June 16, 2017 during a game vs. the Cleveland Indians. The first 10,000 received a "Purple Rain" umbrella. Prince music was played throughout the ballpark pre-game and in-game. Twins players and staff wore special Prince themed t-shirts during batting practice. A Prince-themed fireworks display took place at the conclusion of the game.
The Revolution headlines Rock the Garden!
The Revolution played Rock the Garden at the Walker Art Center on Saturday, July 22, 2017. They performed a mixture of Prince's top hits and B-sides.
Purple Rain Suit at Minnesota History Center
In honor of Prince's life and legacy, the Minnesota Historical Society had Prince's iconic Purple Rain suit on display as well as other items from Prince's collection.
Shelby J at the Dakota Jazz Club
New Power Generation Member, Shelby J performed at the Dakota Jazz Club on April 19th, 2017. A mentee of Prince she had her album release party on this day as well.
Celebration 2017 at Paisley Park
CELEBRATION 2017 honored and celebrated the life and legacy of Prince, as the world marked the first anniversary of his passing. Bringing together musicians, creative personnel, special guests and friends who worked closest with Prince and knew him best, the four days featured live music, panel discussions and presentations on Prince’s tremendous talent, influence and importance as a composer, musician, producer, live performer and filmmaker.

Many of Prince's musical peers have been known to hang at Bunker's in the North Loop. Jesse Johnson, is an original member of Time and played a three night stint from April 20 - 23, 2017.
First Avenue will held two dance parties hosted by DJ Smitty and DJ Rudh.
Paintings Inspired by the Music of Prince
Minneapolis Fine Artist, Linda Clayton, is held a reception to honor the life of Prince through her collection titled, The Prince Series. Clayton listened to Prince's music while composing the series. Headphones were available for visitors to listen to the music that inspired each painting. The unveiling took place on Friday, April 21, 2017 at studio 404 in the Northrup King Building.
Moodyman, is a veteran producer and DJ of house, funk, and jazz music, and a Detroit legend. He spent the majority of his career sampling Prince music and adopting his writing style in various song titles. After Prince passed last year, Moodyman turned his Detroit home into a pop-up museum, blasting Prince's music from giant speakerboxes, ringing down the block for a month straight, nonstop. In 2017, he came to Minneapolis to DJ for the first time in Prince's favorite city.

Dance with the family as they Celebrate the Life and Music of our brother Prince in continuing with his tradition of the After Party where we Danced to the Music Until Dawn. The Dance Party begins at 10:30 PM for Early Entry tickets, with Live Music kicking into high gear at Midnight through 4:00 AM.
This dance party was for the kids. Anyone 17 and under was free to enter and join the celebration.
Commemorating His Purple Reign: A Textural Tribute to Prince. Juried and curated by Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi, this exhibit featured the work of 24 quilters from around the nation, including members of the Women of Color Quilting Network.
