“I like Hollywood. I just like Minneapolis a little bit better." - Prince

Prince Rogers Nelson, one of the most gifted and mysterious artists of all time, began influencing the future of music even before leaving his home of Minneapolis. Though he went on to travel the world, inspiring millions with his talents and eccentricity, he never lost sight of the hometown in which he grew up.

Paisley Park, Prince’s production studio and home that he built just outside of Minneapolis, was a place of unity and art in its purest form. Since his passing, Paisley Park has been opened to the public as a museum and fans now have the rare opportunity to visit the abode of the late artist, who went far, but always came back home.

This $10 million, 65,000 square-foot recording and production studio was home to iconic singer-songwriter and Minneapolis native, Prince. Now a museum, fans from across the globe have the rare opportunity to tour Paisley Park in celebration and remembrance of the late musician, whose nonconformity and diverse individuality inspired millions. An epicenter of creative expression, Prince ensured that his home and multi-purpose complex was an environment free from limitation. While the space is complete with state of the art music production technology, with iconic albums such as Lovesexy, Batman and Emancipation having been recorded within its walls, Paisley Park is also equipped for the creation of other art forms such as clothing production, artwork and graphic design and video recording. Located just outside of Minneapolis, in Chanhassen, Minnesota, Paisley Park embodies the spirit of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend; representing the love, freedom, connection and acceptance that Prince Rogers Nelson worked his whole career to personify.
