2020-2021 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season

Hennepin Theatre Trust is bringing a Tony Award®-winning lineup for the 2020-2021 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season. This year will featuring some of the newest and hottest touring productions as well as popular returning favorites, kicking off the season with Hamilton.

Broadway’s most exciting shows are coming to the historic Orpheum Theatre and they include a mix of highly anticipated brand new productions and returning classics. Check out what's coming to Minneapolis this season!

Hamilton: October 6 - November 22, 2020

Hamilton is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary.  Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.

To Kill a Mockingbird: December 15 - 20, 2020

Academy Award® winner Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prizewinning masterwork. The New York Times Critic’s Pick TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is “the most successful American play in Broadway history. It has not played to a single empty seat” (60 Minutes).
