8,000-10,000 people are expected to visit U.S. Bank Stadium for the three-day conference which covers non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the metaverse, and Web3. Celebrities expected to attend the conference include Mila Kunis, Eva Longoria, Steve Aoki, Snoop Dogg, Seth Green, and Pharrell Williams, as well as business executives from major brands.
Anissa Keyes may have bought a historic north Minneapolis building with the goal of creating an incubator for Black-owned businesses, but her vision reaches well beyond that.
The organization has made major investments in north Minneapolis, including a commercial property and three residential lots. CEO Kenya McKnight-Ahad said the organization would like to “open up a cohort of Black women who can help shape the future of what [the] land becomes.”
The Orpheum Theatre will welcome the show in the fall of 2023 before it makes a national tour. The show was recently nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It debuted on Broadway in 2020 but was paused twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A new show - ‘Back to Workshop, or Everything’s Fine!’ - is an improv comedy show which will run through August. It will be the debut show for Brave New Workshop under the ownership of Hennepin Theatre Trust.
