Wishy

Indianapolis band Wishy pairs the gauzy sweep of shoegaze with grunge’s crunch and power-pop hooks. Co-founders Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites share songwriting and vocals, giving the group’s hazy guitars a melodic counterpoint. Their debut album, Triple Seven, introduced that mix on tracks such as “Sick Sweet” and “Love on the Outside”; the follow-up EP Planet Popstar added “Fly” and “Over and Over.”
