The Mary Wallopers

From “Cod Liver Oil & the Orange Juice” to “Eileen Og,” The Mary Wallopers bring traditional Irish songs into a lively, irreverent present. Formed in Dundalk by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy with Seán McKenna, the group began as a ballad trio collecting songs around Ireland before expanding into a larger ensemble. Their self-titled debut and Irish Rock N Roll pair old songs with fresh arrangements and original material; Paddywhackery adds another chapter to that spirited folk revival.
