The Ike Reilly Assassination

Led by Libertyville, Illinois songwriter Ike Reilly, this band turns sharply observed stories into rowdy rock ’n’ roll, with punk, folk, country and blues in the mix. Reilly’s major-label debut, Salesmen and Racists, introduced his sardonic, vivid songwriting; the Assassination followed with albums including Sparkle in the Finish and We Belong to the Staggering Evening. Reilly’s recent album Blind & Surrounded features his son Shane Reilly, continuing a family connection that has become part of the group’s story.
