Tape B

Tape B, the project of producer and DJ Berk Alkanat, brings a hip-hop listener’s ear to bass music, pairing dubstep’s heavy low end with vocal samples and throwback rap influences. His “Old School x New School” approach has helped him stand out in the electronic scene, with festival appearances at Coachella and Ultra. Among his best-known tracks are “Trippy Land,” made with Mersiv and Juicy J, and “Dopamine,” a collaboration with Wooli.
