Steve Poltz
Steve Poltz’s path runs from fronting San Diego band the Rugburns to a solo career built on inventive, offbeat songwriting. His best-known credit is co-writing Jewel’s hit “You Were Meant for Me,” and he also co-wrote “Adrian” for her debut album, Pieces of You. Poltz’s own catalog includes the solo debut One Left Shoe and Shine On, while his songs range from wry, humorous storytelling to heartfelt folk-pop.
