Pete Yorn

Pete Yorn’s 2001 debut, musicforthemorningafter, introduced a songwriter whose guitar-led alternative rock pairs direct, melodic writing with a rootsy edge. The album earned gold certification and brought songs such as “Life on a Chain” and “Strange Condition” to a wider audience. Yorn has continued to move between solo records and collaborations, including Break Up, his 2009 duets album with Scarlett Johansson. His catalog also includes Day I Forgot, Hawaii and The Hard Way.
