Packaging
Packaging brings together Daniel Lyon of Spirit Award and Daniel “Connor” Birch of Flaural, longtime collaborators whose separate musical instincts meet in a shared project. Their self-titled debut moves between krautrock’s driving pulse, psychedelic guitar textures and expansive electronics, while keeping a melodic center. Tracks such as “Running Through the Airport,” “In My Pocket” and “On Holiday” offer a glimpse of the duo’s range, from restless momentum to quieter melancholy.
