In her new Walker dance commission, conceptual artist and choreographer Moriah Evans questions how our bodies serve as sites of political and existential conundrums. The work unfolds within the Walker’s winding interior and spills into a dramatically reimagined McGuire Theater. In }[…/+*^%<>€£¥$&@!!!!^^^]{, a cascade of physical entanglements, mesmerizing choreography, and a deliberately unsayable title keep us attuned to the present moment.

For this presentation, three esteemed Twin Cities dancers—Benny Olk, jess pretty (both Choreographers’ Evening curators), and Carlo Antonio Villanueva—join performers Cyril Baldy, Malcolm-x Betts, Chloë Engel, Kris Lee, João dos Santos Martins, and Varinia Canto Vila.
