MN Orchestra: Nordic Soundscapes Festival

The ultimate Nordic music festival is back—but a few months earlier this season, thanks to a rare opportunity to have our two favorite Nordic conductors at the helm. As Minnesota’s golden autumn gives way to winter’s quiet magic, Music Director Thomas Søndergård and Conductor Laureate Osmo Vänskä take you on a journey through Nordic soundscapes that pays homage to their musical compatriots.

Come early for performances and experiences from Nordic partner organizations. Visit our Nordic Soundscapes Marketplace where you'll enjoy food, traditional Nordic beverages, wares and a festive lounge space from Krown Bakery, Ingebretsen's, American Swedish Institute and more.
