Madds Buckley
Madds Buckley turns stories inspired by anime, video games and imagined characters into intimate, emotionally direct songs. The Berklee College of Music alum’s breakout, “The Red Means I Love You,” helped earn her RIAA Gold certification; her 2023 album, My Love Is Sick, follows recurring characters Dog and Bird through heartbreak. In newer work such as “Human to You” and “Sitting Pretty,” she brings that narrative instinct to questions of technology, identity and connection.
