With our newly refreshed dining room officially open and welcoming guests, we’re ready to turn up the heat in the Tullibee kitchen. Welcome to Kindling, a limited-run dinner series built on friendship, community, and exceptional food. We wanted to build this series on a foundation of true connection, so we’re partnering with incredibly talented friends and culinary voices within our extended community - the chefs and creators whose work we personally love and live by. Together, we’re crafting exclusive, limited-run menus that bring you comforting flavors, but with a fresh, creative twist - highlighting the people, the stories, and the shared community that inspire us. We are thrilled to announce the second installment with Executive Chef, Kyual Cribben of the highly acclaimed restaurant, Minari! Kyual Cribben - Executive Chef, MINARI & Pikok Lounge Kyual Cribben is a Minneapolis based Chef with over 13 years of experience running many kitchens around the Twin Cities. Some of the restaurants include 112 Eatery, Tilia, Hai Hai, Estelle, Kim’s, and currently Minari in NE Minneapolis. A proud Korean adoptee, Kyual is excited to collaborate with Tullibee to bring a truly one of a kind experience to you!

Nathan Kim - Executive Chef, Hewing Hotel With more than 15 years of culinary experience spanning Michelin-starred kitchens, nationally acclaimed restaurants, and innovative brasserie concepts, Kim brings a fresh vision that blends refined technique with approachable, flavor-driven dining. Most recently, Kim served as Executive Chef at Obelix in Chicago, where he was instrumental in launching the globally inspired French brasserie. Under his leadership, the restaurant quickly rose to prominence, earning recognition as a James Beard Award finalist for Best New Restaurant and being named Chicago Magazine’s Best New Restaurant. Kim himself was named a 2024 Chicago Rising Star by StarChefs.
