Grim Lot ( Album Release )

Grim Lot is an alternative rock band based in Minneapolis. Drawing influence from roots rock n’ roll, 80’s new wave, and the stranger corners of pop music, the band plays a dark style of music embracing and eschewing of tradition. Familiar, yet totally their own.

“On their self titled debut album, Grim Lot deal in anything but subtelty. They continue to fit disparate styles together without sacrificing song craft, or giving in to gimmickry. They utilize angular riffing, blistering saxophone runs, analog synthesizers, and pop-cued melody in tandem to tackle the rigors of modern life. Across nine brand new songs, Grim Lot dare to be different with balled fist, and tongue firmly in cheek.”
