George Clanton
George Clanton helped bring vaporwave beyond its internet origins, both through his 100% Electronica label and his own emotionally direct electronic pop. Under his name, he folds shimmering synths, hazy textures and big, expressive vocals into songs that feel nostalgic without being merely retro. His albums 100% Electronica, Slide and Ooh Rap I Ya trace that evolving sound, while Fauxllennium, his collaborative album with TV Girl, offers another side of his independent-minded approach.
