Dinosaur Jr.
Dinosaur Jr. helped shape alternative rock with a sound built on J Mascis’s drawling vocals, melodic songwriting and towering, feedback-rich guitar. The Amherst, Massachusetts, trio’s influential early run includes You’re Living All Over Me and Bug, while “Freak Scene” and “Feel the Pain” remain touchstones of their catalog. Their later albums, including There Near (2026), show the band continuing to make new music alongside its long-running body of work.
