Dent May
Mississippi singer-songwriter Dent May pairs bright, retro-minded indie pop with lyrics that often leave room for melancholy. His early calling card, The Good Feeling Music of Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele, introduced the playful side of his songwriting; later records such as Do Things and Across the Multiverse expanded his sound with danceable rhythms and sweeping pop arrangements. “Meet Me in the Garden” and “Born Too Late” are two enduring entries in a catalog that spans more than a decade.
