Dax
Dax built an audience with confessional rap that turns personal struggle into direct, poem-like storytelling. The Canadian rapper first developed his writing through poetry while playing college basketball, and that background is especially evident in “Dear Alcohol,” his candid reflection on drinking, and “To Be a Man.” His albums Pain Paints Paintings and What Is Life? further showcase his emotionally intense, self-examining approach.
