Cory Wong

Minneapolis-raised guitarist Cory Wong brings his crisp, rhythm-forward funk to this concert with bassist and singer Blu DeTiger. Wong’s work with Vulfpeck and The Fearless Flyers helped establish his place in modern funk, while his collaboration with Jon Batiste, Meditations, earned a Grammy nomination. DeTiger adds a distinct bass-led pop sensibility; her own “Vintage” showcases the instrument at the center of her sound.
