Chrissy Chlapecka

Chrissy Chlapecka first built a following with bold, playful social-media videos before turning that persona into high-gloss pop. Her songs pair unabashedly feminine imagery with a queer, self-affirming perspective, and she has described hyper-femininity as a way to express queerness. “I’m So Hot” introduced her as a recording artist; later tracks including “I’m Really Pretty,” “10 Boyfriends” and “Apollo” extend that confident pop identity across her Girlie Pop and Christine projects.
