Songwriter, Brady Grey is coming back to Aster Cafe for a hometown show! Brady has been living in Arizona for the past 5 years, sun steeping his heartfelt songs in the desert. With nearly 20 years as a full-time musician, Brady has been honing his craft playing over 200 shows a year. Grey pairs his vocal prowess with looping techniques and masterful guitar work to create rich, layered soundscapes. With poignant lyrics and tales of heartbreak and passion, Grey takes us along life’s path, winding in reflection and returning to love.

Minneapolis multi-instrumentalist Charlie Bruber, a jazz bassist known for his work with Black Market Brass and Society of Chemists, emerges as a compelling singer-songwriter on his second solo album Prized Burden, a warm yet introspective folk-rock collection influenced by John Martyn and Nick Drake. Written during his honeymoon in Northern New Mexico and shaped by his father’s move into memory care, the album balances comfort with existential depth, reflecting on loss, memory, and acceptance.
