Antje Duvekot and David Berkeley

German-born singer-songwriter Antje Duvekot writes intimate folk songs shaped by close observation and a bicultural perspective. Her honors include the John Lennon Songwriting Competition’s Grand Prize and Kerrville’s Best New Folk Award. Across albums such as Big Dream Boulevard, New Siberia and New Wild West, she pairs vivid storytelling with understated melodies; “Merry-Go-Round” also reached a national audience through a Bank of America campaign that included a Super Bowl broadcast.
