Amythyst Kiah
Amythyst Kiah brings Appalachian-rooted songwriting together with an unconventional edge shaped by her love of alt-rock. The Tennessee singer-songwriter first gained wider attention as part of Our Native Daughters, whose “Black Myself”—written and performed by Kiah—earned a Grammy nomination for Best American Roots Song. Her solo albums Wary + Strange and Still + Bright showcase her distinctive voice, banjo playing and adventurous approach to roots music.
