This directory was created to be a quick reference for individuals working to identify appropriate media channels that reach a broad cross section of diverse groups including populations of color, Native Americans, LGBTQ+, immigrants and refugees, and others in the Twin Cities metro area.
Georgia Fort is a two-time Emmy nominated journalist whose reporting has been published on CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, and CBS affiliates. Her mission as a storyteller is to change the narrative by amplifying truth, citing diverse sources, and contextualizing social justice issues. She took her award-winning reporting to a larger platform by launching TV show - Here’s the Truth with Georgia Fort - in 2023.
