Yo-Yo contestants compete at Mall of America
Yo-Yo contestants will dazzle Mall of America® guests at the
16th annual Midwest Regional Competition
WHAT: Mall of America® will host the 16th annual Midwest Regional Yo-Yo Championships on Sunday, June 23 where yo-yo enthusiasts from eight Midwestern states will compete to see if their caliber of tricks will land them a spot at the National Championships in Chico, CA.
The Midwest Regional Yo-Yo Championship is one of nine regional contests of the National Yo-Yo League. The contest is divided into categories for all levels of experience from amateur to professional. Players can enter the freestyle division, from Junior 1A up to 5A Freestyle, or the ladder sport competition.
This is the 14th year that Mall of America has hosted the Midwest Regional Yo-Yo Competition. For more information visit www.mwryoyo.com.

Dazzling Dave is one of 13 officially recognized National Yo-Yo Masters and holds a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® for fastest time to knock 15 coins off the ear of 15 participants with a yo-yo at 1:33 seconds.
