Upper Level Tickets to be Available for $5 as a 'Thank You' to Fans; Wolves to Host Pre-Game Block Party on Target Plaza; All Fans to Receive U.S. Bank Fan Appreciation Team Poster

Minneapolis/St. Paul Throughout the 2011-12 season, the Minnesota Timberwolves have said "Thank You" to all of the dedicated fans who have supported the Wolves on the court and in the community as the team improved under the direction of head coach Rick Adelman. With "Everyone Talking About the Timberwolves," many fans have joined the discussion this season and the Wolves organization will extend a "Thank You" one more time on Thursday, April 26 as the Wolves host the Denver Nuggets on Fan Appreciation Night at Target Center.

"We want to express our sincere gratitude to our phenomenal fans for their continued support," said Timberwolves President Chris Wright. "Every season our fans enthusiastically support us on the court and in the community and their passion is truly appreciated by all of our players and staff. With 11 sellout crowds this season, this team, lead by Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love and under the direction of Rick Adelman, brought the excitement back to Target Center this winter. We're looking forward to building off this winter into the summer and anticipate a great 2012-13 season."

From 5:00-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, fans can join the fun at the free Wolves pre-game block party on the Target Plaza, featuring music from popular Twin Cities artist The Urban Myth Band. Face painting and interactive games will be a part of the festivities, and concession items will be available for purchase as well.

Each person in attendance Thursday night will receive a U.S. Bank Fan Appreciation Team Poster. The giving doesn't stop there as the night will feature many other opportunities for fans to win prizes throughout the game.

As a special "Thank You," the Wolves are making all remaining upper level tickets to Thursday's game available for $5. Beginning Monday, April 23, fans can purchase those tickets by logging onto timberwolves.com, calling 612-673-1234 or by visiting the Target Center box office.
