Winter Open Streets at Holidazzle takes place Saturday
This Saturday, Open Streets will host its first-ever Winter Open Streets at Holidazzle. Connected with Holidazzle in Loring Park, Winter Open Streets will celebrate our streets and winter in Minneapolis along Nicollet. It will be full of opportunities to explore all the best that downtown Minneapolis has to offer. Enjoy Winter Streets at Holidazzle along Nicollet from 5th Street to Grant Street, then on Grant from Nicollet to Loring Park.
Still time to shop local for holiday gifts
Our full-run gift merchandise vendors will be located outdoors near Santa throughout Holidazzle this year. Stop by and browse incredible options for holiday gifts from the following Holidazzle flagship vendors: Hippy Feet, Love Your Melon, KCM Woodworks, The Abbey Alpacas, Triple Crown Hats, The Beer Dabbler, The Purple Tree, The Thirsty Whale, Three Rivers Syrup and WinterCraft. Plus in the shops tent this weekend you can enjoy Faribault Woolen Mill Co., Skyline Specs, North Shore Apparel/Martin’s, Moxie Malas, Simple Trends, Cheese Bros. Holidazzle showcases local people, places and products you can’t find anywhere else, and the food scene here this season is sensational! Enjoy Kramarczuk’s (including their Holidazzle exclusive: wild rice and cranberry sausage), Cindy’s Cinnamon Roasted Nuts, Fair Faves cheese curds and mini donuts, Walt’z Wings, Twin Cities Paella, Poffertjes and More, Pierogi’s Wonderland, K-Town Street Foods and Cookie Cups. These vendors would make for a great in-studio or on-site taste-testing segment.
Hot and cold beverages ready when you are
Remember the Fulton Beer Garden has a collection of Fulton products, including the exclusive Holidazzle Proper Porter. Sociable Cider Werks’ Fat Bike Hot Mulled Apple Cider will keep you warm outside—a Minnesota favorite! And Misfit Coffee has coffee, hot chocolate, lattes (including a special Holidazzle latte you can’t get anywhere else!).
Two more chances to enjoy winter fireworks at Holidazzle
We’ve had three weekends worth of Holidazzle fireworks, and the next display will take place on Saturday, December 17 at 7 pm! Stop by and enjoy another unique display—if you’ve seen one, you haven’t seen them all! Our final fireworks of the season will take place Saturday, December 23 at 7 pm.
Free skating and complimentary skates available
Remember that the Minneapolis WinterSkate is located on the Holidazzle footprint, and it is open during all Holidazzle hours (as well as daily Nov. 15 through March 4). Bring your own skates or us a complimentary pair located in the Warming House courtesy of CenterPoint Energy.
Get in the holiday spirit with an outdoor movie (or two!)
Outdoor movies at Holidazzle are a big hit. We’ll kick off our outdoor movie weekend this Thursday with “A Christmas Story”, then visit us for “Frozen” movie on Sunday. Remember, there are hay bales on site for you to sit on. Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets, and enjoy! Movie nights at Holidazzle are presented by U.S. Bank.

The Kids Zone is a huge hit—stop by and have fun!
Holidazzle’s Kids Zone had kids of all ages playing from start to finish each day during opening weekend. Enjoy a maze, fun slides, tunnels, hay bale climbs and more. Plus, stop by the Wolf and Moose interactive art exhibits, which are huge hits for kids.
Best Ways To Arrive
There are several ways for people to arrive at Holidazzle, including parking for $5 or less flat rate locations at the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Community & Technical College, taking Metro Transit bus routes (4, 6, 12, 17 & 18 all directly service Loring Park) or light rail lines (blue and green toward Target Field Station, then connect with the free ride bus route at the Nicollet stop to Alice Rainville), a pick-up and drop-off location (Yale Place/Willow Street). Follow the Walking Paths
All arrival options lead to three Holidazzle Walking Paths. Follow these paths to Holidazzle when you enter Loring Park at Grant Street/Willow Street, Maple Street/Harmon Place or Hennepin Avenue & Lyndale Avenue/Oak Grove Street.
