MINNEAPOLIS, May 21 2014The Walker Art Center will again participate in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across the United States to offer free gallery admission to active duty military personnel and their families over the summer. The program runs from Memorial Day, May 26 through Labor Day, September 1.
Year-round the Walker offers half-priced gallery admission for active duty military personnel and their families, and admission for children under 18 is always free.
