Timberwolves PR Department Accepting Credential, Photography and Seating Requests for 19th Annual Timberwolves Shootout

Requests Must Be Received by Friday at 5 p.m.

Minneapolis/St. Paul Media members planning to attend the 19th annual Timberwolves Shootout at Target Center on Saturday, Jan. 10 must reserve a seat and credential with the Timberwolves public relations department.

Please send credential and seating requests to Wolves public relations associate Terry Horstman (horstman@timberwolves.com) by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9.

The 19th annual Timberwolves shootout features some of the nation's top high school teams. The shootout tips off at 9:15 a.m. when Omaha Central (NE) takes on Apple Valley and Gary Trent Jr. North Scott (IA) and Cretin-Derham Hall will face off in the second game at 11 a.m. followed by Morgan Park (IL) taking on the DeLaSalle Islanders at 12:45 p.m. The event concludes with Rice Lake (WI) vs. Champlin Park at 2:30 p.m.

Through the years, 27 future NBA players have participated in the Shootout, including Jrue Holiday, DeMarcus Cousins, Kevin Love and Josh Smith. In addition, more than 200 participants proceeded to play Division I college basketball.

2:30 p.m. Champlin Park vs. Rice Lake (WI)

Please note that credentials for the Timberwolves Shootout do not include credentials for Saturday's game between the Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs at 7:00 p.m. All credential requests for the Wolves vs. Spurs must be filed separately.
