Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy, presented by Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine, announces the 2017 schedule of summer camps and clinics taking place across the Upper Midwest. The summer schedule is highlighted by appearances by Timberwolves center Cole Aldrich, Wolves TV analyst Jim Petersen and former Timberwolves center Greg Stiemsma.

The summer will kick off with a five-day camp in Coon Rapids from June 12-16 featuring an appearance from Aldrich. There will be eight camps/clinics in June.

There will be a total of 14 camps/clinics in July. Aldrich and Petersen will make an appearance at camps in Maple Grove (July 17-21), Wayzata (July 24-28) and Spring Lake Park (July 24-25). Stiemsma will make an appearance at camps in Stewartville (July 12-13), Watertown (July 10-14), Mankato (July 24-28) and Woodbury (July 31-Aug. 1).

The Academy will host 11 camps in August with Stiemsma appearing at eight of them and Petersen in attendance at five camps.

Aldrich, Petersen and Stiemsma will attend the camps indicated where each participant will have the opportunity to ask questions, work on a few drills and get a photo and autograph. Each participant will also receive a ticket to an upcoming Lynx game, a ticket to a Wolves game for the 2017-18 season, a Wolves basketball and other prizes.
