Timberwolves & Lynx Announce New Name and Logo for Training Center in Mayo Clinic Square
Facility Includes New Home for Youth Basketball Academy
Minneapolis/St. Paul The Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx have announced the name and logo of its new training center and corporate headquarters in Mayo Clinic Square. The facility, named the Timberwolves and Lynx Courts at Mayo Clinic Square, will host the upcoming Lynx Training Camp starting on Sunday, May 17.

The Lynx will use select areas of the facility during training camp including the courts, locker rooms and training areas. The grand opening for the entire 105,000 square foot facility is scheduled for mid-June.
Occupying the third and fourth floors of a former movie theater, the new facility includes expanded training areas and two basketball courts, with the Timberwolves and Lynx each having a primary court. In addition to housing both teams and basketball operations staff, the facility will also be the new home of the Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academy, which annually reaches approximately 10,000 youth athletes through year-round camps and clinics.
The facility also includes the new corporate headquarters for the Timberwolves and Lynx. Staff will be moving their offices to the new facility in the coming weeks.
