Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team’s 2019-20 Media Day and Training Camp information.

The Wolves will hold the team’s annual Media Day on Monday, September 30 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. at Target Center. Players will be in uniform and available for interviews, photo opportunities and a chance to discuss the upcoming season. Media credentials will also be disseminated to those media members that have been approved for season credentials.

Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas and Head Coach Ryan Saunders will be available to the media in a press conference setting, followed by Wolves players. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any one-on-one interview requests on Media Day.

The Wolves will hold the team’s training camp at Minnesota State University, Mankato and Mayo Clinic Square. Minnesota’s first practice will be at Minnesota State, Mankato on Tuesday, October 1. This will mark the eighth Wolves training camp in Mankato, the last being in 2014. Practice and media availability times will be distributed at a later date.
“The people of Mankato and Minnesota State, Mankato have always been supportive of us and we’re excited about going back to Mankato for the start of training camp,” Saunders said. “For our team, we feel being together on the road to start training camp will further the process of building a positive environment and culture for our players and staff.”

Following training camp, the Wolves will play five exhibition contests, including one game as the home team: Oct. 13 at Target Center vs. Maccabi Haifa. The Wolves open the exhibition schedule with a two-game road trip: Oct. 8 at Phoenix and Oct. 10 at Golden State. Following the game at Target Center, Minnesota concludes the preseason with a two-game road trip: Oct. 15 at Indiana and Oct. 17 at Milwaukee.
