The Brian Setzer Orchestra–Christmas Rocks! Tour Plays the Orpheum Theatre, Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015

The Brian Setzer Orchestra, fronted by three-time Grammy Award-winner, Stray Cats founder and Minneapolis resident Brian Setzer, brings their 12th annual Christmas Rocks! Tour to Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., downtown Minneapolis) at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. With a career spanning more than 30 years and smash hits as a band leader and a solo artist, Brian Setzer and his Orchestra will feature music from the new album, Rockin’ Rudolph, their first new studio Christmas album in 10 years to be released in October on Surfdog Records. The concert will also highlight Setzer’s legendary guitar magic on re-imagined holiday classics, original music and such hits as “Rock This Town,” “Stray Cat Strut.” Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 21 and range in price from $53.50 to $89 depending on seating preference.

Rodney Carrington, Comedian, Actor and Singer, Performs Two Shows at the Pantages, Friday, Oct. 16

Rodney Carrington, the multi-talented American comedian, actor, writer and country music singer who has recorded eight major label comedy albums which have sold millions of copies, will perform two shows, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Pantages Theatre (710 Hennepin Ave., downtown Minneapolis). The appearance, produced by Outback Concerts, is part of his new “Here Comes the Truth”tour. Tickets go on sale at noon, Friday, August 21 and are $44.75 with a limited number of VIP seats for $ 179.50.
