Tickets for U.S. Bank Stadium Public Open House Available Friday, June 10
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 9, 2016) – Minnesotans will have their first chance to explore U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24 during a two-day Open House featuring access inside the stadium and family-friendly activities outside. Tickets for the Open House will be available on Friday, June 10 at 10:00 am at www.ticketmaster.com or at 800-745-3000. Timed-tickets will be available at no charge and will offer access to the main concourse, Hyundai Club and upper concourse, with spectacular views of the field. The Open House celebration is free to the public.
“U.S. Bank Stadium’s Open House will be the first time the building is open to the public,” said Michele Kelm-Helgen, Chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. “To celebrate the grand opening, we will have a large range of family-friendly events with activities for all ages.”
Events on the plaza and park include:
Playground on the plaza
A unique, 3-D chalk art installation
Live music on both days including line dancing, DJ’s, children’s entertainment
Giant-sized Connect Four, Jenga and other games
Outdoor movies in the park on both days
The public is encouraged to stay downtown for the Aquatennial Fireworks. The movies, as well as the local bands will be released in early July.
A ticket will not be necessary to enjoy outdoor activities during the U.S. Bank Stadium Open House, but are mandatory for admittance to U.S. Bank Stadium. The public is encouraged to arrive at the Legacy Gate Entrance at their ticketed time as attendance to this free Open House is expected to be very high.
