Thirty Years of Moving Dance: Zenon Dance Company Celebrates
30th Anniversary with Spring Concert
Minneapolis, Minn. March 27 , 2013 The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts is pleased to present Zenon Dance Company as they culminate their 30th Anniversary with a Spring Production in The Goodale Theater May 312. One dynamic company three decades of modern and jazz dance performed with passion, perfection and panache. Zenon Dance Company has been a standard-bearer of artistic excellence in the Twin Cities for 30 years. One of the nations only professional modern- and jazz-dance repertory troupes, Zenons eclectic repertory showcases signature works by emerging and established choreographersmore than 50 regional, national and international dance artists to date. The Zenon dancers are renowned for their tremendous stylistic diversity, technical virtuosity and artistic integrity. Theyre also a national favorite among critics and audiences for their fearless physicality and emotional intelligence. The peerless Zenon Dance Company has been described as the dance company that can do it all and in a league of its own by the Star Tribune.

The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts
The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts is the Twin Cities' newest arts center and the flagship for dance in Minnesota. Centrally located in downtown Minneapolis, The Cowles Center includes the newly refurbished 500-seat Goodale Theater; the Hennepin Center for the Arts, home to 20 leading dance and performing arts organizations; the state-of-the-art Target Education Studio, housing The Cowles Centers distance learning program; and the new U.S. Bank Atrium. The Cowles Center fills the need for a place that is a catalyst for the creation, presentation, education, enjoyment and celebration of dance and the performing arts in the Twin Cities.
