The Walker Art Centers Target Free Thursday Nights in May feature a kick-off event for Gather By DAmicos Brewer-in-Residence series with Matt Hall, master brewer of Lift Bridge brewery (Thursday, May 1); a Free Verse event with poet Michael McClure (Thursday, May 1); a Mack Lecture with author/curator Mary Jane Jacob (Thursday, May 8); a Sound Horizon free, in-gallery performance by DJ Kevin Beasley (Thursday, May 8), a Gallery Talk with curator Siri Engberg on Edward Hoppers Drawings (Thursday, May 15); a screening of Hopper Stories, 8 short films about Hopper, (Thursday, May 15); Motionpoems, a program that turns contemporary poems into films (Thursday, May 22); and a McKnight Media Artist Fellowship Panel (Thursday, May 29).
