WHAT: Halloween festivities have begun at Mall of America® with the transformation of Nickelodeon Universe into Nickelodeon Boo-niverse!

Halloween festivities at Nickelodeon Boo-niverse throughout the month of October will include:

Fright Lights Halloween Spectacular
The nightly light show at the South Entrance of Nickelodeon Universe includes lights and music to groove to – all in the name of Spooky Halloween fun! Fright Lights shows are every night at Park close and at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Halloween dancers will be performing during both shows every Friday and Saturday starting October 11. Fright lights includes the use of strobe lights and fog effects.
Nightly at Park Close through October 31
Friday & Saturdays at 8 and 9:30p.m.
Sundays at 7:30p.m. Monday – Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

Double Dare Challenge: Double Scare Edition
Are you brave enough for the challenge? Guests can participate in a special Double Dare Challenge: Double Scare edition in Nickelodeon Universe through out the month of October. Answer trivia, tackle physical challenges, navigate the super sloppy and Spooktacular Double Dare obstacle course to receive Nickelodeon’s highest honor…being Slimed!
October 11 – 27 Friday & Saturdays at 4 & 7 p.m., Sundays at 1 & 4 p.m.

Haunted “Fog Chute”
For a limited time, the Log Chute in Nickelodeon Universe® will be transformed into a haunted Fog Chute. Guests will need to watch out for cobwebs, bats and ghouls as they journey through the mill and end with a splash.

Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox have joined in this year’s festivities again with their own Halloween costumes. Friday + Saturday Nights, September 26 through October 31

Slime Making with Mad Science

With the purchase of an all-day Nickelodeon Universe wristband, stop by the Blue spot to experience making your own Slime with Mad Science.

Amateur Pumpkin Carving Contest
Guests are invited to cheer on local pumpkin carvers as they compete for a cash prize and title of Nickelodeon Universe Amateur Pumpkin Carving Champion.
Saturday, October 19

Professional Pumpkin Carvers
Local sculptors will carve your favorite Nickelodeon characters from real pumpkins as well as answer questions guests may have on carving skills and the best techniques.

Blue Spot inside Nickelodeon Universe

Treat Trail:
Team Nick is inviting guests to show off their ghostly attire and experience the second annual Treat Trail. With a Nickelodeon Universe wristband purchase, guests will receive a treat bag and visit designated treat locations throughout the Park.

Trick-or-Treating around Mall of America
Guests are invited to spend all Hallow’s Eve at Mall of America. Trick or Treaters will dress up and meet in the Rotunda to receive their treat bags before scouring more than 520 retailers for sweet treats!
