MINNEAPOLIS (April 13, 2016) – U.S. Bank Stadium has unveiled a special VIP opportunity to commemorate the Inaugural Sporting Event, A.C. Milan vs. Chelsea F.C. in the International Champions Cup.

This limited-availability VIP Package will include an internationally themed cocktail reception in the Hyundai Club, complete with live entertainment, prior to the commencement of A.C. Milan vs Chelsea F.C. In addition to the 5:30 pm cocktail reception, this VIP Package includes a commissioned, limited edition crystal glass block enshrined with a three dimensional image of U.S. Bank Stadium, two exclusive collector’s edition laminated VIP tickets to the soccer match and a VIP parking pass. This limited edition crystal block, with laser graved exterior surface inscription, is locally produced by the Minnesota-based firm, Crystal D.

Milan and defending Premier League champions Chelsea F.C. to face off at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Wednesday, August 3 at 8 pm CT as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup. The match will be the first major sporting event in the history of U.S. Bank Stadium, the new home of the Minnesota Vikings.

About the International Champions Cup

The 2016 International Champions Cup will run from July 23 – August 13 and play matches across the United States and throughout the world. In total, 10 teams from around the globe, including England (Liverpool, Chelsea F.C. Leicester City), Italy (AC Milan, F.C. Internazionale), France (Paris Saint-Germain F.C.), Spain (Barcelona, Real Madrid), Germany (FC Bayern Munich) and Scotland (Celtic F.C.) will compete in the 2016 International Champions Cup. Each team will play three contests and the club with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned champion. Each win in regulation will result in three points and a tie will go straight to a shootout; the winning team in a shootout will receive two points and the losing team will receive one.
