WHAT: Special Olympics athletes, families and supporters will gather for the first-ever Unified Dance Marathon to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) at Mall of America on November 21.Participants will register online and must raise a minimum of $100 to dance. Each hour of the event will be programmed with performances, games, and of course, music and dancing. As the night goes on, the more funds each team raises the longer the participants can dance. Revenue sharing opportunities will also be available for school organizations and SOMN delegations. The Unified Dance Marathon supports more than 8,100 SOMN athletes across the state.
