South Metro Job Fair at Mall of America® aims to continue the downward trend in Minnesotas unemployment rate
WHAT:
The Minnesota employment rate remains at 5.2 percent according to the state Department of Employment and Economic Development. To help combat the high unemployment numbers, Mall of America® will host the South Metro Job Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Nearly 50 metro area companies will be represented at the fair, sponsored by the Hennepin County, along with more than 20 community partner agencies that provide jobs
and training services.
Attendees will have access to local job opportunities, the necessary forms to apply for open positions and other important tools for job searching. Community resource representatives will also be available to answer questions regarding education, employment and training, health care, transportation and more.
Those attending are encouraged to come in professional dress with resumes in hand.
Some employers will be conducting candidate interviews at this job fair.
