South Metro Job Fair at Mall of America®
WHAT: The South Metro Job Fair will return to Mall of America® on Wednesday, April 8 from 10 a.m. 3 p.m.
Represented by more than 45 local companies, the South Metro Job Fair will allow attendees to have access to local job opportunities, the necessary forms to apply for open positions and other important tools for job searching. Community resource representatives will also be available to answer questions regarding education, employment and training, health care, transportation and more.
Minnesotas unemployment rate is currently 3.7 percent, according to a March report. That number remains below the national average, as The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the national unemployment rate is 5.5 percent. The U.S. economy added 126,000 jobs in March.
Those attending are encouraged to come in professional dress with resumes in hand. Some employers will be conducting candidate interviews at this job fair.
