Saint Paul, Minn. – 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission that resulted in humans walking on the moon for the first time ever. The Science Museum of Minnesota will celebrate by participating in the May 17 national premiere of Apollo 11: First Steps Edition. This brand new film is a special giant screen version of Apollo 11, Todd Douglas Miller’s critically-acclaimed 2019 documentary, that will put viewers at the center of the mission, showing them this remarkable science achievement as they’ve never seen it before.
