PROGRESSIVE® INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOWS® RETURN TO
MINNEAPOLIS ON FEBRUARY 6, 2015
Santa Monica, Calif. The Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® shift into gear Friday, February 6 through Sunday, February 8 in Minneapolis, MN. The worlds leading manufacturers including BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, Star, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory, and Yamaha will be on hand to display their North American lineups, as well as the latest in aftermarket parts and top brand accessories. From seasoned veteran to casual enthusiast, the Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® is the ultimate destination to experience powersports culture, speak with brand and industry experts and shop the marketplace.
Highlights that will fill the Minneapolis Convention Center throughout the weekend include:
J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Competition Back for a fifth year, the worlds largest motorcycle builder competition will showcase elite-level, custom motorcycle creations vying for a cash prize. This competition will feature several classes including Freestyle, Retro Mod and Mod Custom.
Stunt Shows featuring No Limit Extreme Entertainment Team including legendary rider
Jason Britton New for the 2014/2015 tour season, the stunt show includes one of the most highly recognized stunt riders and entertainers in the industry, Jason Britton. For nearly two decades, Britton has elevated his riding talent and skills in extreme sports to an art form that is not to be missed.
Main Stage Seminars including Finding Cannon Balls Trail with award-winning rider and racer,
Don Emde Our main stage presentations attract thousands of attendees to see the top racers, instructors and celebrities. For the 2014/2015 tour season, Finding Cannon Balls Trail has been added to the lineup. This newest addition features a discussion with the legendary Don Emde about his work on the Cannon Ball Project where he retraced the groundbreaking 1914 transcontinental motorcycle ride taken by E.G. Cannon Ball Baker, an early pioneer of the sport. The talk will include Emdes personal experiences working from Bakers written accounts and retelling the story of his ride on a day-by-day basis to commemorate its 100th anniversary.
The EagleRider Travel and Tour Pavilion: The World on Two Wheels A brand new innovative feature added for the 2014/2015 show season, the Pavilion is dedicated to the touring, adventure and destination riders. Highlights include gear, products, DIYs and seminars designed to educate attendees on how to create the motorcycle journey of a lifetime.
Demo Rides Licensed motorcyclists who bring their own riding gear (including a helmet) can test ride the hottest new bikes from BRP|Can-AM, Harley-Davidson, Indian, Yamaha and Victory. Sign-ups begin on Friday and demos run on Saturday and Sunday during daylight hours until dusk.
Vintage Club Displays Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to look into the past, with this special display showcasing retro bikes, courtesy of local vintage motorcycle clubs.
Progressive® School of Rock Returning to the tour, Progressive® and the School of Rock are teaming up to bring attendees the perfect mix of music and motorcycles.
The Marketplace Is an interactive retail space that offers attendees the opportunity to touch, test and/or try the newest top arts, accessories and gear while interacting with factory specialists from leading manufacturers including Airhawk, Arai Helmets, Chatterbox, Dunlop/Goodyear, Dynojet, Heidenau Tires, HJC America, K&N Engineering, Krypptonite Corp., Mustang Motorcycle Products, National Cycle, Performance Machine, Shoei Safety Helmet Corp., Tourmaster/Cortech, Twisted Throttle, Vance & Hines and Yuasa Battery.
Ultimate Powersports Giveaways Attendees will enter to win at each tour stop with the chance to win one of the grand prizes, which include Suzuki and Triumph motorcycles and Yamaha watercraft. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the tour in March of 2015.
