Brave New Workshop Theatre Announces Spring Reboot of Winter Show:
"A Pedalpub Named Desire: Love in Minnesota"

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) is pleased to announce a spring reboot of its current hit winter show. The updated version will be titled "A Pedalpub Named Desire: Love in Minnesota." Previews for the show run April 17-24, with opening night on Friday, April 25. The show runs through June 28. All performances are at the Brave New Workshop Theatre main stage at 824 Hennepin Avenue, Downtown Minneapolis. With spring in the air and summer not far behind, the love bug has hit the cast of the BNW with a double whammy. The ever-innovative theatre company presents "A Pedalpub Named Desire: Love in Minnesota," a seasonal makeover of its popular winter show "A Snowplow Named Desire: Love in Minnesota." "Pedalpub" takes a warmer, sunnier look at love, sex and romance, featuring all of the audience favorites from "Snowplow," along with plenty of new songs and sketches sure to melt even the most frigid Minnesotan.

"A Pedalpub Named Desire" was born out of the Brave New Workshop's unstoppable creativity. Artistic director Caleb McEwen explains, "Since it's such a fun topic, the cast created an enormous amount of great material that just didn't make it into the current show due to running time. Now that the show has been such a huge hit, we decided to release a 'Version 2.0' with all the best sketches from the current show, and some awesome updates for the spring and summer."

"Pedalpub" will feature BNW cast members Lauren Anderson, Matt Erkel, Bobby Gardner, Andy Hilbrands, Tom Reed, Taj Ruler, and Melanie Wehrmacher. The show is directed by Caleb and Katy McEwen. Peter Guertin returns as music director, and Matthew Vichlach will provide technical direction.
