MINNESOTA WILD TO HOST OUTDOOR PRE-GAME PARTY TO CELEBRATE HOME OPENER ON SATURDAY, OCT. 15

Saint Paul, Minn. (Oct. 6, 2016) - The Minnesota Wild announced today the team will host a free pre-game party for fans on Saturday, Oct. 15 ahead of the team's 2016-17 NHL regular season home opener. The outdoor festivities will be held from 2 - 5:30 p.m. at the expansive Cleveland Circle parking lot across W. 7th Street from Xcel Energy Center. The Wild will face off against the Winnipeg Jets at 6 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.

Pre-game festivities will include a DJ, the two-story Bud Light Mega Bar, Happy Hour pricing, all-new Wild merchandise and concessions. Wild media partners FOX Sports North and KFAN FM 100.3 will also be on site.

Tickets to the home opener are not required to attend the party. In the event of inclement weather, fans should stay tuned to Wild.com and Wild social media accounts, including @mnwild on Twitter, for updates on the event.
