Ordway Summer Dance Hosts Swing Night on June 26 in Rice Park
Free event features Capri Big Band and Arthur Murray Saint Paul
The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will continue its Summer Dance Series on Thursday, June 26, with Swing Night. The evening will begin with free swing dance lessons from Arthur Murray Saint Paul at 6:00 p.m. Then, attendees will put those new dance moves to the test when Capri Big Band takes the stage at 7:15 p.m. with live music.
What: Ordway Summer Dance Series, a popular series of free, family-friendly dance events and live music in Rice Park on select Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Each week will highlight a different dance and music genre, offering free lessons from professional instructors from around the community, followed by live music and open dance in the park.
The June 26 event will feature live music from Capri Big Band, along with swing dance lessons from Arthur Murray Saint Paul.
Who: The Ordway Center for Performing Arts, with funding by the Saint Paul Cultural Star Program, Visit Saint Paul, the Knight Foundation, Travelers, The Saint Paul Hotel and Pazzaluna.
