This L.A.-based urban Latin dance company fuses elements of Salsa, Afro-Cuban, hip-hop, urban and contemporary dance to create an invigorating performance. CONTRA-TIEMPOs newest piece, Full. Still. Hungry., features a live six-piece band, vibrant costumes and dynamic choreography to tell the story of how food, race, privilege and consumption impact our everyday lives. Full. Still. Hungry. premiered to a sold-out crowd at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles in Sept. 2011, and has been captivating audiences ever since.

Known for their theatricality, gutsy moves and a strong sense of storytelling, Camille A. Brown & Dancers uses the aesthetics of modern, hip-hop, African, ballet and tap dances to tell stories that connect history with contemporary culture.
