Concert Hall
Tickets: $37
The introduction of Rock & Roll not only influenced pop culture, but it changed the modern musical as we know it. Shifting away from traditional song and dance, this new style of show tackled social issues through contemporary music. Broadway Songbook: Rock & Roll on Broadway takes the audience on a ride from the 1960s through the present day with songs from iconic musicals such as Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Wicked, Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys and more.
DIAVOLO
Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Music Theater
Tickets start at $23
A visually stunning and athletic dance company, Diavolo uses abstract and recognized structures to explore the relationship between the danger of the environment and the fragility of the human body. Daredevil dancers and gymnasts leap and tumble on architectural elements in a thrilling, high-risk performance style. This one-night-only show includes the works Transit Space, Fluid Infinities and a new Ordway co-commissioned piece entitled Cubicle.
